POWER BI DASHBOARD - Analysis of Infant Mortality and Life Expectancy by Region

This analysis allows us to identify regions with high infant mortality rates or low life expectancy, which may reflect problems in access to health services, socioeconomic conditions, or environmental factors. With this information, specific public policies can be designed, resources allocated more efficiently, and interventions targeted to the areas most in need, thereby reducing health disparities at the regional level.

Europe is the continent with the highest life expectancy and lowest infant mortality, standing out for its high level of well-being. However, Azerbaijan is the only European country with an average of more than 50,000 infant deaths per year.

In contrast, Monaco stands out as the country with the highest life expectancy, reaching an average of 89.5 years.

The Americas are in the middle of the league in terms of life expectancy and infant mortality. Haiti has the highest average infant mortality rate and also the lowest life expectancy on the continent, reflecting significant health and well-being challenges in the region.
